A bit of a personal post.

22 years ago this week (5^th July) I arrived at Pronto for the very first time.

As a Shell STEP undergraduate, I was tasked with creating a website for the company. The very first website I created, it was hand coded in JavaScript!

I didn’t know the company and they didn’t know me.

It must have worked out though because a six-week project has turned into a career in the coatings industry, opening doors and opportunities I never knew possible.

All along I have remained at Pronto and couldn’t imagine working anywhere else. I’m also not sure anyone else would cope with me!

One thing that has stayed with me is loyalty. You can’t buy it, you nurture it. It comes from within, a shared spirit and set of values that stand you in good stead.

There are a good many people at Pronto who share a similar long service badge like me and we think that shines through, especially in the toughest of times.

I’m looking forward to the next 22 years and fronting up to new and different challenges!
