Intended Uses

Combining an epoxy resin system with excellent anti-corrosive properties, 103-106 is designed to be a relatively quick drying two-component primer for various paint systems over shot blasted steel. Suitable as a build coat or finish in conjunction with Pronto 2 Pack Epoxy High Build Zinc Phosphate Primer (100:006-Types) and 2 Pack Epoxy Finish (100:100-types). When used as part of a complete system, 103:006 provides excellent protection, excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals, solvents and severe atmospheric exposure conditions.

Theoretical Coverage

Approx 8 square metres per litre at 125 microns wft. NB. The practical coverage rate depends on many factors and will be less than the theoretical figure.

Method of Application

103:006 is best applied by airless spray.

Drying Time

Touch Dry …… 45 minutes.
Handle dry ….. 6 hours.
Full Cure …….. 7 days
Drying times are quoted at 20°C and will vary with actual conditions such as: film thickness, air movement, temperature and humidity.
