Intended Uses

QD Ultra High Solids OEM Primer Finish is one of our core products, sold in large volumes across the UK. Primarily designed to be used as a ultra high solids one-coat finish for steel fabrication, which gives good exterior durability combined with resistance to certain chemicals. Suitable for users over 15 tonnes solvent per year. Typical applications are for Accommodation Units, Security and Anti-Vandal units.

Recommended Film thickness

Typical wet film thickness when applied as a finish is 185 microns (100 microns dft).

Theoretical Coverage

Approx 5.4 square metres per litre at 100 microns dft. NB. The practical coverage rate depends on many factors and will be less than the theoretical figure.

Method of Application

210:802 is best applied by Airless Spray or Air Assisted Airless Spray (15 – 19 thou tip)

Drying Time

Touch Dry .….45 minutes.
Handle Dry ….. 90 minutes.
Full Cure …. 7 days
Drying times are quoted at 20°C and will vary with actual conditions such as: film thickness, air movement, temperature and humidity.
